Over the years, NK Foundation has partnered with local organisations and community groups to deliver meaningful support across Burnley and the surrounding area. Here are some of the initiatives we've been proud to be part of.
Curry on the Street
NK Foundation has proudly collaborated with Curry on the Street to support vulnerable individuals and families in the community. Together, we have helped provide hot meals on the streets alongside food bank essentials, bringing comfort, dignity, and practical support to those facing hardship.
Pendleside Hospice
NK Foundation has supported Pendleside Hospice through a range of community initiatives — including a free CPR training event, thousands of pounds donated toward fundraising efforts, and volunteering at events such as the Community Iftar and Memories on the Lake. We remain committed to supporting the incredible work Pendleside does for families across the local area.
Graveyard Clean-Up
NK Foundation has organised and taken part in community graveyard clean-up initiatives, helping to maintain the dignity of resting places in the local area. Our volunteers have regularly supported clean-up efforts at Nelson Cemetery — clearing litter and preserving a respectful environment for visitors and families.
Ronald McDonald House
NK Foundation was proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities by helping to fill their mini food bank for parents staying at the hospital while caring for their children. Through donated food and essential supplies, we aimed to provide a small source of comfort to families facing incredibly difficult times.
Women's Refuge
NK Foundation has supported local women's refuges by donating blankets, clothing, toiletries, and other everyday essentials for women and children in need. We hope these efforts provide comfort and practical support to those rebuilding their lives.
Community Football and Cricket
NK Foundation has organised local football tournaments and community cricket games to encourage cohesion, positive participation, and engagement among people of all ages and backgrounds. Through sport, these events bring communities together and create opportunities for teamwork and healthy social interaction.
